The newborn stage is the one most parents say passed before they had a chance to look up. A newborn session preserves something that genuinely can't be recreated, the size of those hands, the way they curl into you.
Sessions are held in a private, warm North Sydney studio, led entirely by your baby. We feed, settle and pause as often as we need to, there's no rushing and no rigid shot list.
My style is simple and minimal: soft light, clean wraps, and the quiet closeness of those first weeks.
Newborn Session Experience
When to book
Newborn sessions work beautifully any time in the first two to eight weeks, while babies still sleep deeply and curl in close. Reach out while you're pregnant so we can pencil in a window around your due date, and I'll hold space for whenever your baby arrives. Older babies are warmly welcome too, see baby and milestone sessions below.
In the studio
The studio is warm, private and set up for comfort, yours and your baby's. There's plenty of space to spread out, plus a small backyard where siblings can play and burn off energy while we work. We work entirely at your baby's pace, feeding and settling whenever needed. Nothing is forced, and the calmest sessions make the most natural images.
Simple and safe
My newborn style is minimal, soft light, clean wraps, no fuss, and your baby's comfort and safety come first at every moment, with only natural, supported poses. To keep it easy for you, newborn clothing and styling are provided, along with a small curated wardrobe for mothers and siblings, so there's less to think about and pack.

Afterwards, your edited gallery is ready to view and order from within 10 days, ready to choose as prints or a digital collection to keep.

Sitter, milestone and first birthday sessions
Newborn days pass quickly, and the first year is full of moments worth keeping, the first real smiles, sitting up, first steps and first birthdays. Baby and milestone sessions capture your little one as they grow, in the same relaxed, natural style. Held in studio or on-location, and lovely as a standalone session or as part of watching the first year unfold.

That's completely normal and never a problem. Sessions are unhurried, we feed, soothe and take as long as we need. Calm, unrushed sessions make the most natural images.

Can siblings and parents be in the photos?
