Women Portraits

I photograph women who have been putting themselves last. Women marking a milestone. Women going through a change. Women who have never had a portrait taken where they actually liked how they looked. On-location at golden hour, or quietly in studio — whichever feels more like you.

The experience
From the moment you enquire, this session is built around you. We start with a conversation - about what you're looking for, how you want to feel, and what you'd like to walk away with. There's no standard format, no preset shot list. Every session is shaped around the person in front of the camera.
Styling
Not sure what to wear or how to put it together? I'll send through a personalised styling guide before your session - what works on camera, what to avoid, how to dress for your setting and your body. If you want to go further, I work with a trusted hair and makeup artist who specialises in natural, camera-ready looks. Having your hair and makeup professionally done changes how you carry yourself in front of the camera - most clients say it's the thing they're most glad they added. MUA services are available as an optional add-on when you enquire.
Bespoke sessions
If you have something specific in mind - a particular location, a concept, a mood you've been holding onto - bring it. I love working with a brief. Whether that's a meaningful place in Sydney, a particular time of day, a specific feeling you want the images to capture, or something you've saved on Pinterest and never known how to ask for, we'll build the session around it. These are some of my favourite sessions to photograph.
On-location or studio
Both settings are available and both suit this session well. On-location at golden hour gives you movement, natural light, and the kind of images that feel alive. The studio gives you something quieter - controlled light, a minimal set, full focus on you. If you're not sure which suits you better, we'll work it out together before you book.
